Stylish & Juicy

I like rice milk better than soy milk, soy milk better than cow’s milk, cow’s milk better than goat’s milk, but I do like goat cheese.

It finally dawned on me just how much energy I invest in not becoming too rooted where I am. I wonder if the joy I find in movement is the same joy others find in the predictability of routine. I dream of finding a place I long to set down roots in. (Update: I think I have.)

The umlaut is my most favourite of the accents. Ëvëry wörd shöuld häve än ümläüt.

It is quite impressive the regularity with which I consistently do my buttons up crooked.

I think clothes blowing in the breeze on a clothesline is about the most romantic and heartbreakingly beautiful thing I’ve witnessed. Its melancholy wraps around my heart and won’t let go.

I’m usually surprised by what I write when I look back on my archives. Most of the stuff I write is stream of consciousness and is therefore lacking in any pesky ego that would otherwise cause me to congratulate myself. I thank god for this mercy.

Numerous unrelated people have described me as effervescent. Me and heartburn medicine…yay!

I’m an introvert and an extrovert — it’s a 50/50 split. My introvert writes most of this blog, but most people know only my extrovert. I sometimes have to remind myself that the majority of people don’t know both versions.

I brake for bean salad, plain soy yogurt, beets, carob & almond clusters, and swiss chard. Hmmm…two food comments on my ‘Aboot’ page. Nice.

I floss everyday. I like the ’shock and awe’ effect it produces in dental hygienists. I also find it a very satisfying activity.

I believe in Love. That’s right, capital “L” Love.

Imagining that clothesline with cotton blankets dancing in the breeze is quite soothing…

Hi, was tag surfing for poetry/photography and something of yours appeared, so I dropped in to have a look-see, liked what I read, and I will be back to do it again.

Hi again. I said I would be back. This time I read and looked at and thought about everything … it was a pleasurable and enlightening time all around. Your words and your photographs are equally amazing. Glad I stumbled on your blog.
